Jeff Williams and Band

Dividing his time between Brooklyn and London, veteran American drummer Jeff Williams who has performed with a who’s who of jazz icons including Stan Getz, Lee Konitz, Ted Curson, Cecil McBee, Jerry Bergonzi, Joe Lovano and more releases ‘Lifelike’, his fourth album on the burgeoning UK Whirlwind label. Recorded live in 2017 at the iconic jazz club The Vortex in London, Lifelike features alto saxophonist John O’Gallagher, virtuosic saxophonist Josh Arcoleo, award-winning pianist Kit Downes and in-demand bassist Sam Lasserson all of whom perform on the live gigs.

Audiences will be treated to fiery, passionate displays from this well-rehearsed and closely-knit group.
