Written and performed by Max Dickins, this powerful drama looks at how people come to disappear and the impact on those they leave behind.
In December 2015, an elderly man was found dead on Saddleworth Moor. Train tickets in his pockets showed he’d travelled 200 miles, apparently just to die.
40 different people claimed ‘the man on the moor’ as their missing husband, father or brother. These ‘left behind’ people are the ones who pick up the pieces when someone leaves and never comes home again.
‘A great mystery, expertly told’
THE TIMES
‘A deeply mature piece of storytelling… makes you think, makes you feel, makes you want to find the answers.’
