Come out to Discovery 2's May showcase featuring electro-rock assault squad Dronningen, multi instrumentalist, alternative/pop act Bird, wave fusion DreameR&B artist Catching Cairo, U.S. singer/songwriter Rache Love, plus Discovery's resident DJ Delphi. Come celebrate Discovery 2 Showcase's 15th Anniversary!

Dronningen is a London-based electro-rock assault squad. They have had gigs in London, Derby, Leeds, Southampton, Basingstoke, Reading and beyond. The band has recently released a new EP "Sugarbox" which was played several times on BBC Introducing London by Gary Crowley, Kerrang! Radio, Shoreditch Radio and more. They have also played at musical festivals like Heart in Sweden, Comic Con 2016 and more.

Bird showcases her years of experience of playing the cello and drums throughout her performances and albums. Her multi- instrumental talent lead to her first headline gig at the legendary Marquee Club in all girl punk band. She worked as a session musician drumming for Haddaway, recording cello for Sony, Mercury, Universal and more before deciding to go solo. She is currently working on her new album with producer Mike Hedges.

Catching Cairo conveys lyrical vulnerability and clarity; a lucid British sultry vocal combined with new-fashioned production. She describes her introspective, diverse and calming influence as DreameR&B collection. Catching Cairo has made waves in the dance music circuit songwriting and collaborating with artists and indie labels such as Rinse, Maison, Kitsune and more. She has been bolstered by radio support from Beats 1, MistaJam, Annie Mac, and David Rodigan.

Rache Love is an authentic pop singer/songwriter based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a student of the Joel A. Katz Music & Entertainment Business Program at Kennesaw State University. She has played tour dates and festivals from Ireland and England to Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee. She has worked with Grammy-nominated producers, Nick Chawala and Rich Veltrop, as well as The Spot Studios producer, Glenn Sawyer. She is looking forward to returning to the UK and performing at the Discovery 2 Showcase!
