Line Up: The Palpitations, Mandy For Girls, Pretty Babs, The Crooked Kings, Electus, The Good Arms, Caught By The Bears, Scott & Maria

Start your bank holiday weekend right this May with a massive show at Brick Lane’s 93 Feet East.

The Palpitations are a hotly tipped grungy indie/rock band from Luton, who combine elements from influences such as Nirvana and The Smiths, to create their signature sound. They may be relatively new to the scene, but they’ve impressed promoters Absent Kelly on numerous occasions already.

Dorset quartet, Mandy For Girls will be providing support. This anarchic grunge/indie quartet have already turned the heads of a lot of radio stations, including BBC Introducing, with their sound that’s reminiscent of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Joining us all the way from Nottingham for the show is Pretty Babs. This quartet play fast and furious rock and roll, reminiscent of the Gaslight Anthem, that has seen them championed by the likes of BBC Introducing.

The Crooked Kings are a quartet from London whose blues tinged indie rock is modern, unique and catchy as hell! This sound has seen the band championed by the likes of BBC Introducing and play big name venues including the Camden Assembly.

Wolverhampton rockers, Electus will also be there. This quartet will be rocking the stage with their sound that has seen them gain great reviews, radio airplay, and spots on festival bills.

Scotland’s The Good Arms will be bringing their rock and roll swagger to the stage. Having recently been awarded Track of the Week on Amazing Radio, we’re expecting big things!

Bath lo-fi indie trio, Caught By the Bears have made a name for themselves on their local scene playing famous venues likes Moles and now they’re ready to show the Capital what they’re made of.

Opening the show is Scott & Maria. This Brighton based acoustic duo’s amazing harmonies will both enthral and charm you.
