'Cifras Imaginarias' is the first project to invent a songbook for two vihuelas that could have, hypothetically, been published around 1560 in Seville or Valladolid. A unique opportunity to hear the marvellous poliphonic music of the 16th century in the hands of two of today's internationally pre-eminent vihuela players, Ariel Abramovich and Jacob Heringman, who present works from their latest album on the Arcana label 'Cifras Imaginarias: Música para tañer a dos vihuelas'. The Bolívar Hall provides the ideal space in which to hear this wonderfully intimate programme full of contemplation and tranquility - the perfect way to kick off your weekend!
