606 Gospel Lunch With Special Guest Andre Gabriel

In a change to our regular Gospel Group Sundays today we will be putting into the spotlight the man who for so many years now has been putting it all together, bass player and guitarist Andre Gabriel. Andre has been a performer, primarily on the gospel scene, for many years and, as well as running the 606 Gospel gig for almost a decade, he also includes work with the likes of Adelaide McKenzie, Emmanuel Waldron, Junior Robinson, Karen Gibson, Muyiwa, Noel Robinson, Tony Clarke and Tracey Campbell on an impressive CV. Today Andre will be performing a mix of Gospel-inspired instrumental and vocal renditions of some classic songs accompanied by his terrific 7-piece band that includes a number of fine singers, with a promise of a great “Groove”/Gospel-based afternoon. This is always a special and uplifting gig and highly recommended. And don’t forget this is our family day so children are more than welcome.
