A Cambodian Spring is an intimate portrait of three Cambodian citizens caught up in the chaotic and often violent political development that is currently shaping modern-day Cambodia. Filmed over 6 years, it charts the growing wave of land-rights protests that led to the ‘Cambodian Spring’ and the tragic events that followed. This film is about the complexities, both political and personal, of people power.
This one-off screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director Chris Kelly and activist Venerable Luon Sovath, who appears in the film.
