HowTheLightGetsIn, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival, is coming to the heart of London this September. (22nd-23rd September 2018). For one weekend only, you'll find the world's leading thinkers debating today's biggest ideas in the spectacular grounds of Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath.

First speakers announced include psychologist Steven Pinker, author and playwright Deborah Levy, post-colonial theorist Homi Bhabha, activist and filmmaker Tariq Ali, Kurdish rights activist Elif Sarican, mathematician and Hawking collaborator Roger Penrose, author of Call Me by Your Name Andre Aciman, and many others. Alongside a range of debates, talks and workshops in London, there will be fantastic acoustic music acts making for a wonderful atmosphere at a beautiful location.

Featuring a programme of over 50 debates and talks, 40 bands and comedy acts, and a host of other experiences, HowTheLightGetsIn is bringing the best of its world-renowned festival in Hay-on-Wye and topping it with the grand atmosphere of the festival.
