The Connect Festival kicks off in Victoria between 13 - 16 June, encouraging local workers, wider Londoners and visitors to come together and celebrate the imminent arrival of Summer in the City.
With activities taking place in different locations across Victoria, The Connect Festival is the perfect way to explore one of the capital’s most transformed districts. From a pop up English Summer Garden in Lower Grosvenor Gardens to West End musical performances in the Cathedral Piazza, however you like to relax there will be something you for at The Connect Festival.
From the moment people arrive in the area, coming out of Victoria’s mainline railway station visitors will be greeted with a riot of colour with a stunning Balloon Pop installation - they will then be guided to the different event locations, focused at Lower Grosvenor Garden and Cathedral Piazza. Roaming ‘Flower Cyclists’ adorned head to toe in beautiful seasonal blooms will help get visitors in the summer spirit.
This free festival, organised by the Victoria Business Improvement District, comes as Victoria has undergone a huge transformation. No longer dominated by Government offices and civil servants, the area is now home to a vibrant mix of shops, restaurants and bars. The Connect Festival aims to showcase some of the stunning public spaces in the area, providing people with not only world class entertainment but a lovely setting to enjoy the (hopefully) sunny weather!
Many of the area’s restaurants, bars and world class hotels are joining in the fun with special offers and promotions - visit the Victoria Business Improvement District’s website for full details.
