“ROAD TO MYSELF – Walking The Ancient Trails in Southern Italy” is a new travelling exhibition from the Puglia Tourist Board aimed at showcasing the enchanting and cultural itineraries available across the region, whilst simultaneously showcasing a new short film directed by Alessandro Piva.
Open to the public and free to enter, the exhibition commences its tour in London before travelling to three more European cities: Paris, Wien and Müenchen. Complete with local food and drink produce, the project aims to promote South Italy’s diverse cultural itineraries; a re-discovering of “slow” journeys, and provide an experience through film. The project also aims to highlight out of season travel.
These are the themes included in “Road to Myself”, the new documentary by Italian director Alessandro Piva, that will be screened during the travelling exhibition as it tours Europe from 14th June to 1st July.
The documentary has been supported and produced by South Cultural Routes - a collaboration between the Italian regions of Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, and led by Puglia. The film has been co-financed by the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities and Tourism.
