StreetXO, Mayfair’s most exciting addition to the London food scene, is delighted to be the restaurant partner for Mayfair Art Weekend and present The Mayfair Modern Art and Lunch Experience on Saturday 30th June. The Mayfair Modern Art and Lunch Experience will comprise of a tour of some of London’s most prestigious contemporary art galleries followed by lunch at StreetXO. Hosted by John Martin, owner of John Martin Gallery and co-founder of Art Dubai, the tour will start at 10am in The Academicians’ Room at The Royal Academy of Arts for refreshments and then head to Stephen Friedman Gallery for its exhibition ‘Talisman in The Age of Differences’ curated by Yinka Shonibare MBE, followed by a showing of David Nash’s sculpture at Annely Juda Fine Art. The tour will culminate at Maddox Gallery with a talk delivered by the outstanding James Nicholls, Managing Director of Maddox Gallery, art critic for London Live TV and Royal Academy of Arts Patron. The art tour will conclude with an opportunity for guests to make their own prints with artists to take away. At 1pm the tour will head to StreetXO in Old Burlington Street to enjoy an extraordinary seven -course lunch with a glass of wine and a welcome cocktail on arrival, conjured up by world renowned Chef Dabiz Muñoz.
At StreetXO, 3-Michelin star world-renowned Chef Dabiz Muñoz delivers an electric, ground breaking, alter-ego to his Madrid restaurant DiverXO. Dabiz’s unique ‘avant-garde’ style showcases creative, visually arresting dishes and cocktails with bold and gutsy flavours from around the world. Diners are invited to embark on a journey of the senses, a roller-coaster of flavours, where you can only expect the unexpected.
For £90 per person, guests can enjoy 7 courses including StreetXO’s ‘Pekinese dumplings’ and ‘Steamed XO Club Sandwich’ followed by ‘Cheesecake ice cream’. The Street XO Modern Art Lunch Experience will also be available for previews from Tuesday 26th June - Friday 29th June, coinciding with the Masterpiece Art Show and Mayfair Art Weekend.
