This year Regent Street will be celebrating the return of its annual and much anticipated Summer Streets event for the sixth consecutive year. Taking place every Sunday from 1st – 22nd July, the free Summer Streets festival along one of the city’s most iconic streets will enable Londoners and visitors alike to relax, unwind and enjoy the offerings of Regent Street’s retailers restaurants and local businesses. There’s an abundance of activity on offer for all to enjoy, from wellness to arts and culture, family friendly activities and delicious food and drink, making Summer Streets a must-visit this July.

Wellness
Throughout the four weeks, lululemon’s health and wellbeing experts will partner with Psycle, Frame, Third Space and UN1T to bring their workout classes out onto Regent Street. The iconic lululemon dome will also be part of the line-up offering visitors the chance to discuss their fitness goals.

Also focussing on getting active, Asics will take to the street with a pop-up tennis court, a tiger silent disco, and a running challenge on the Asics treadmills over the course of the four Sundays.

For visitors in need of freshening up after all the action, Kiehl’s on Wheels is back by popular demand, offering five-minute skin consultations and sampling.

Arts & Culture
To mark the momentous 250th year of The Royal Academy of Arts (RA), an installation of over 200 flags will be displayed throughout the summer across London’s West End streets. Regent Street will be home to 100 of these, designed by noted artist Joe Tilson. As well as the aerial display on the street during Summer Streets Joe Tilson’s designs will also be transformed into a colouring wall which will be positioned on Regent Street throughout Summer Streets for all to get creative with colour.

Family-Friendly
Whilst the festival is family-friendly, there will be a break out zone for the whole family with grass, swings and craft tables, while a number of Regent Street stores are hosting activities which will appeal to children and adults alike. The Regent Street bees will also be calling this area home throughout the four weeks as customers will be shown the journey of pollination to plate.

Hollister will be bringing a taste of Californian sunshine to Regent Street with pool floats, interactive games, face painting and hair braiding. Tommy Hilfiger will be installing a Scalextric track for customers to embrace their inner competitiveness, and Anthropologie will be offering complimentary workshops for the creatives in the crowd.

Food and Drink
This year, the food quarter is larger than ever and will include 12 stalls from some of the street’s most loved restaurants, cafés and bars, including Danish bakery Ole & Steen, Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen and some of the best Argentine food by Gaucho.

Aside from the food quarter, L’Occitane Café will be debuting its bespoke ice-cream bikes in an outside picnic area, Hotel Café Royal will be toasting the summer with a Laurent Perrier Champagne bar and T2 will be offering an array of loose leaf tea for those avoiding the bubbles.
