Midsommar – a celebration of the longest day in the Northern Hemisphere - has been celebrated since the 12th Century. The celebration is a core tradition in Sweden, where the country comes together to dance, share food and of course, drinks.

This Summer, Absolut is bringing Midsommar to London with a ten-day festival in partnership with Drink Up London, the team behind London Cocktail Week.

Events will be held at The Absolut Midsommar hub at Last Days of Shoreditch, as well as discounted cocktails for anyone with a festival pass at participating venues across the city.

The festival kicks off on Thursday 21st June, the longest day of the year, with an incredible Midsommar Banquet at Last Days of Shoreditch. Absolut will welcome guests into their world, a haven of delicious cocktails, sumptuous feasting, wild flowers and the great outdoors. For only £35, festival goers will enjoy a glorious 3-course Swedish feast of smorgasbord sharing platters, delicious cocktails that embody the flavours of Swedish summer, and entry to the afterparty.

It will then continue with a series of Midsommar workshops at Last Days of Shoreditch, including creating traditional Swedish flower crowns, cocktail masterclasses, and Absolut bottle decoupage sessions.

If that’s not enough, bars across the city will be opening their doors, offering bespoke Absolut Midsommar cocktails for only £6 for those with festival passes.
