Kids Gardening Club: Edible Gardening at Capital Gardens

There is nothing quite like the magical wonderland of a garden when you’re a child. Discovering new creatures hiding between the leaves, tasting the delicious things you can grow, and watching plants change throughout the year are all marvellous experiences for an inquisitive young mind.

That’s why Capital Gardens, London’s largest group of independent garden centres, is excited to announce brand new gardening classes as part of its Kids Gardening Club. The club aims to inspire children to retain a fascination with plants and gardens, and learn skills they can use for the rest of their lives.

This summer’s activities will kick off this June with Edible Gardening classes, promoting healthy eating. Children will learn what can be grown and how they can grow produce, with a look at the different edibles, vegetables, herbs fruit and flowers. Kids will also be able to plant seeds, fruit and vegetables to take home!

Suitable for children aged between 5 and 10.
