Canada Day is this Sunday and the nation’s premium gin, Ungava, is celebrating by offering complimentary gin and tonics at London’s one and only Canadian pub, Maple Leaf.

Canada Day, Sunday 1st July, marks the anniversary of the day the North American country’s three colonies, Canada, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, came together and continues to be celebrated all around the world.

This year, Ungava is bringing the spirit of Canada Day to the UK where they’ll be spreading the country’s cheer, by serving Ungava gin and tonics to anyone celebrating the nation’s birthday at the Canadian themed pub, Maple Leaf, from 12pm.

Made with 100% natural ingredients, Ungava is created with six rare botanicals that can only be found in the Arctic Tundra for six to eight weeks a year. All the botanicals are hand-harvested including the wild rose hip which creates the gin’s unique, natural yellow colour.

Jordon Stacey, Global Brand Ambassador for Ungava, said: “What better way is there to celebrate Canada Day than to surround yourself in all things Canadian – which is why we invite everyone to come along to the aptly named Maple Leaf in London to toast our great nation’s birthday with a refreshing Ungava gin and tonic. Ungava’s uniquely Canadian flavours provide a fruity base supported by rich and spicy tones and a velvety smoothness from the harmonious mix of botanicals, which makes it the perfect patriotic pour to get you in the spirit this Canada Day. See you there.”
