Organised by the Embassies of Latin America, Spain, and Portugal, the VIA Arts Prize is London's bespoke visual celebration of Ibero-American themed arts. It is hosted annually at the Embassy of Brazil in London.
UK based artists are invited to send in an original work in response to this year's theme of 'dialogues'. The theme remains the same as last year, as VIA team believed the notions of dialogues and communication continue to be pivotal in our current social, economic and cultural environments. Entered pieces will have the opportunity to be one of the top thirty works exhibited at the Embassy of Brazil in London later in 2018.
The winner of the prize, as chosen by a high profile judging panel, wins £5,000 and their winning work becoming part of the Embassy of Brazil's permanent collection. The runner-up receives £2,000 and their working becoming a permanent feature in sponsor Itaú's collection.
The deadline for submission is the 22nd of October 2018.
