Familia’s mid-summer instalment brings Oliver Koletzki, Metodi Hristov and Timmo to the fore, ready for a loyal, cosmopolitan crowd who are set to congregate in the midst of the summer heating Egg LDN’s myriad of rooms for a night of powerful, groove-laden sounds. Oliver Koletzki first dipped his toe into electronic music in the 80’s, honing his skill mixing breakdance and hip-hop - a long way from the sound Koletzki is renowned for today. As the Stil Vor Talent label boss, Koletzki remains a spirited producer and selector of energetic techno, thanks to a long-running career winning over Berlin’s electronic community before branching out in North & South America, Australia and Europe. After the celebrated release of ‘Frankfurter Tor’ - a compilation of pummelling tracks from Stil Vor Talent artists - earlier this year, Koletzki’s return is one of the highlights on Familia’s calendar.

Arguably one of the most prolific electronic producers to come from Bulgaria, Metodi Hristov returns to Familia after a busy few months churning out a plethora of releases on Terminal M and lots more. His own ‘Set About’ imprint is a sturdy platform for showcasing Hristov’s material, touching on raw techno cuts to more experimental, off-kilter creations. You only have to glance at Hristov’s heavy touring schedule - covering São Paulo, Bogotá and Beruit amongst others - to see how Hristov’s following has blown up internationally in the last number of years, bringing his sound of punchy, driving techno to the limelight of the global dance music realm.

Timmo joins Hristov and Koletzki, a familiar face on the Familia booking agenda since signing a monumental EP with Drumcode back in 2014, rapidly gaining support from industry heavyweights including Dubfire, Joesph Capriati and many more. Now with three releases on Adam Beyer’s imprint, 2018 is set to be another strong year for Timmo as an artist on the rise.
