Come and enjoy the EdFringe previews of two of the best young comedians on either side of the Atlantic:

From the UK, Simon Caine, of the Ask the Industry Podcast and "Screaming Inside" fame, will present his new show "Sex, drugs and other things I never do".

We don’t always get the ending we want in life. Simon is 31 years old. In his head he feels 18. By this age he thought he’d have his dream flat, dream girl and dream job. He’s single, lives at home and performs comedy for a living (one out of three isn’t bad). If you’re the kind of person (ie a living human) who feels younger in your head than the age you would tell people, this is the show for you. At the time of writing this press release the show is 20% about sex, 5% about drugs and 75% about stuff he hasn’t done (including writing a joke for this presentation)

And, landing directly from NY for this London Premiere, Anders Lee will present his new show "DUMMY"
Anders Lee is dumb.
Or is he?
He certainly has been described as such from a very early age.
“On the spectrum”: an accurate diagnosis or a cop out?
A faithful description or a constricting label of convenience?
Identified at a young age as being on the autistic spectrum, Midwestern American comedian Anders Lee brings his signature, sincere and plainspoken manner to the stage, as he recounts struggles with school, work and dating while being 'on the spectrum'.

Through funny, heart-warming and thought-provoking stories, Lee dives headfirst into questions of disability (perceived or otherwise), education and what it means, in our hyper capitalist, technology-saturated age, to truly be 'a dummy'.

"Anders Lee's great good fortune has been to be "on the spectrum": this has allowed him to explore the nooks and crannies of his life story with a wry and original sense of humour that talks to us not of diversity but of kinship" Dr. Francesca Maccaferri, clinical psychology graduate

Theatre @Draper Hall is curated by Stefania Bochicchio, ITI (International Theatre Institute) UK co-director
