Is your family full of young train enthusiasts, wannabe postmen or aspiring historians? The Postal Museum – Art Fund Museum of the Year 2018 finalist – has a jam-packed programme of fantastic activities guaranteed to delight the kids this summer. And it’s all included in the ticket price. Along with a brand-new summer ticket offer for families, there’s never been a better time to visit the museum with your little ones.

As well as taking a truly unique train ride through 100-year-old subterranean tunnels deep under London on Mail Rail, families with children of all ages can enjoy a huge variety of activities taking place at the museum until Sunday 2 September 2018. What’s more, groups of two adults and two children can take advantage of a new summer deal and save more than £10 when they visit before 31 August 2018.

From drop-in arts and crafts sessions to artist-led workshops, kids can take part in a wide range of activities, from storytelling and meeting characters from Britain’s postal past to creating a slogan tote bag based on colourful 1930s posters and meeting two suffragettes who posted themselves to 10 Downing Street while fighting for the right to vote.

Activities are open to children of all ages. They are available on a first come, first served basis, so please do come along early to experience the surprising story of our postal past in a way you never imagined!
