Mary Seacole lived in Jamaica as a Doctress and then travelled all the way to the Crimea to use her skills helping the wounded soldiers, at the same time as Florence Nightingale. In 2004 she was voted the greatest Black Briton. Celebrating Jamaican Independence Day, drop-in and be just like Mary Seacole dignosing an injured soldier, choosing a remedy and making a sniff bag to take away.
