An afternoon of music and improvisation in the chart bar from sought-after pianist Richard Simmons, bassist David Silk, vocalist Jacci Norris and special guest Earl Okin. Trumpet-impersonating virtuoso, guitarist, pianist and reluctant sex symbol Earl Okin is probably the best performer of Bossa Nova outside of Brazil. He is also one of the world’s finest songwriters and his songs have been recorded by stars including Helen Shapiro, Cilla Black and Georgie Fame. Based in London, Earl has given concerts around the world in theatres, clubs and festivals, and regularly performs at Ronnie Scott’s. Entry is free and food is available (including a Sunday roast). Guest performers welcome.
