Well, this is an interesting gig. At the age of 24 singer/pianist Tom Seals has already made an impressive impact on the UK music scene. Fresh from his sell-out Let the Good Times Roll Tour in 2017 Tom's charismatic and distinctive voice, as well as his excellent improvisation skills, have rapidly established him as one of the country's most talented Blues/Boogie-Woogie piano/vocalists, with people in the know describing him as "quite possibly the future of Jazz/Pop". And to emphasise that opinion, last winter saw the release of his debut EP ‘Where I'm At (Live)’, which soared to number one in the UK Blues Charts. He has appeared at Cheltenham Jazz Festivals' Gregory Porter and Friends, Jools Hollands' Boogie-Woogie & Blues Spectacular and was invited by Jamie Cullum to perform an impromptu 4 hand-1 piano version of Route 66 on Jamie's regional radio tour (which Tom describes as "a career highlight...so far"). And if all that wasn't enough he has also recently appeared at the iconic Montreux Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott's, Birdland Jazz Club in New York, Orange Peel in Hong Kong and the North Sea Jazz Club in Amsterdam. Not bad going for someone who's just turned 24! Not surprisingly his band tonight is made up of some of the finest and most interesting players on the scene, including Dave Swift, Jools Holland's bass player of 20 years, Sam Barratt from Tom's other band interest CC Smugglers, on guitar and Joel Barford from the National Youth Jazz Orchestra on drums. Oh, and watch out for a Special Guest on sax! This promises to be an evening of swing, blues and boogie-woogie at its very best.

"He sounds like Little Richard" Sir Tom Jones; "Amazing" Jamie Cullum
