Philip Munoz - Surface - Closing Reception

NR Project has the pleasure to announce the closing reception of Philip Munoz’s exhibition “Surface”. The event will be hosted by NR Studios – an art space dedicated to celebrate the beauty of tattoos.

Philip Munoz finds his inspiration in women's tattoos and piercings. Their courage, strength, but also gentleness. Human's body is the hardest canvas to work on. It moves, breathes, and bleeds. During our whole life, we collect a lot of scars on our bodies and on our souls. However, there are some pains that we consciously choose- like becoming someone's living artworks. Exhibition "Surface" is a representation of modern women's lives. Their secrets, passions, and identities. Artist immortalises sensualism of a tattoo craft and feminine body.
