From tiny succulents to hanging houseplants, it’s fair to say indoor plants have become a bit of an obsession in 2018. But why should adults have all the fun? Watching plants grow and bloom is a marvelous experience for the inquisitive young mind, and a good excuse for them to get their hands dirty and learn a new craft!

Capital Gardens, London’s largest group of independent garden centres, is excited to announce new indoor gardening classes this September, as part of its Kids Gardening Club which looks to excite and inspire children into the joy of plants and gardens.

Encouraging environmentally-friendly thinking, children will learn what plants can be grown indoors and the health benefits of indoor plants. What’s more, kids will be taught how to make their very own terrarium from a recycled plastic bottle and receive a free plant sprayer! They will also learn how to make your own alternative garden from a bottle container, looking at a variety of herbs and bedding plants.
