SicilyFEST 2018

On September 7/8/9 PopUpMarketSicily, in collaboration with P&A events, returns to London for the fourth year with its well-known Sicilian-themed event: SicilyFEST.

A new venue in the heart of East London 's revolutionary arts and media quarter has been chosen for the 2018 edition. The Boiler House , a stunning industrial brick warehouse venue dating back to the 1830s, with many of its original features - including the famous Truman Chimney - still intact, will be hosting this celebration of Sicilian gastronomy. A unique and exciting experience for the London foodie.

SicilyFEST will give Londoners access to real and authentic “Made in Sicily” and will transform the historic Grade II listed Boiler House into a typical and traditional Sicilian street market. A showcase of all the deliciousness the sun-drenched island in the heart of the Mediterranean has to offer and of its distinct, steeped in history unique cuisine.
This year SicilyFEST will run for three days , from Friday 7th of September to Sunday 9th: so one extra day for Londoners to enjoy the tantalising array of stalls which will mainly focus on Sicilian food produce, wine and drinks.

Visitors will – literally - have a taste of Sicily thanks to a wide selection of cannoli, arancini, pizza fritta, panelle, pasta, marmalades, jams, sweet and savoury preserves, desserts, cakes, gelato, liqueurs, craft beers and wines. Every mouthful will give visitors a sense of Sicily’s intoxicating vitality.

“Made in Sicily” means also creativity and art: over the three days visitors will enjoy art exhibitions, music and live performances, in addition to show-cooking sessions, food tastings and master classes.
