Don Giovanni’s journey from paper to the stage – Ricardo Panela (baritone) and Opera Prelude’s young artists

This lecture will focus on the history of the creation of one of the most famous and beloved operas in Operatic canon. Starting with its initial conception and underlying political message, baritone Ricardo Panela will guide this lecture from a researcher and performer’s perspective.

Opera Prelude is a small charity about supporting young professional opera singers who give lecture recitals in London. These friendly and inclusive events will introduce you to the international opera singers of tomorrow by way of recitals, concerts and masterclasses.
