Upcycle a glass jar into a colourful lantern in our fun eco-crafts workshop. You’ll turn an ordinary, everyday jar into a masterpiece using glass paints, taking design inspiration from the local ecosystem. A great way to reuse and recycle an every day item, you’ll be able to fill your finished lantern with a nightlight, then admire its rainbow glow.

Whether you already love making things or are a novice, don’t worry, help is at hand! The workshop is led by two crafting experts, Mia and Momtaz from The Make Escape, who’ll guide you along the way. You’ll be able to master a new skill and take home your creation. Drop in and join us!

The session is suitable for children aged 7+ and adults. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. All materials are provided but if you have a spare glass jar at home (sauce jars are perfect) please bring it along, washed and with the label removed, ready to transform.
