Indie Takeover at K West Live

Get on your dancing shoes with K West Lives’ Indie takeover on Thursday 18 October 2018 with a line-up of indie, rock and pop. The free monthly music night is returning to Studio Bar at K West Hotel in Shepherds Bush and will be showcasing the best in emerging UK talent.

Doors open at 6pm. Acts will be supported by notable DJs, who will play until 1am. On 18 October 2018, the line-up will feature:

Bubblegum (Headliner)
East London based five piece have been hopping between venues in London and Brighton with their collection of indie/funk sounds and energetic stage presence for three years. With venues like 93 Feet East, Water Rats, Amersham Arms and The Hope & Anchor under their belts, the band have recently released two singles including ‘Shimmy’ and ‘Sunset (in the key of E)’ on all platforms. The band have embarked on a series of live music videos in the run-up to the release of their new singles and are set to release two new music videos later this year.

Para Alta
From Hartlepool and based in London, Para Alta make shimmering indie jams you can hook your heart on. With love from Huw Stephens, John Kennedy, TLOBF, DIY and more under their belts, their live show is just as big as their singles and their choruses as sharp as their cheekbones.

Natalie Shay
19 year old multi award-winning, indie pop/rock artist from North London Natalie Shay has been deemed as one of London’s hottest emerging talents. Shay’s talents have found her performing to sold-out audiences at some of London’s most iconic and renowned venues, including The Roundhouse, Ronnie Scotts and Brooklyn Bowl, 02. Her new single ‘This Feeling’ landed Shay a stunning number 4 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts.

The Recording Studio London will be giving away a FREE full day in the studio worth £500 and local craft brewery Portobello Brewing Company will be giving-away one FREE bottle of Portobello beer with every meal.
