Vilnius Takes Over: Vilnius Energy + Felicita

Discover a hybrid of music and visual arts performances with the international premiere of the post-ironic electronics act Vilnius Energy, over-boarder music producer and DJ Felicita (PC Music) and Hìldå, whose selection rarely fits into the canons of genre definitions;

Vilnius Energy is a collaboration between contemporary poet, avant-garde rap artist and European slam poetry championship winner Žygimantas Kudirka (Mesijus), experimental jazz and electronics musician Adas Gecevi?ius and visual artist Asta Ostrovskaja. Expect new breed of electronics with vocals in English and artificial languages, accentuated by striking visuals.

To get a sense of musical direction, the initiator of the project Žygimantas Kudirka - Mesijus has warmed up such music artists as ZEBRA KATZ, CITIES AVIV, ANGEL HAZE, XXYYXX, SAUL WILLIAMS, MOUSE ON MARS, DEAN BLUNT, MYKKI BLANCO, GHOSTPOET.

Anglo-Polish producer Felicita (PC Music) will envelope you with experimental pop, into a world of resembling something like ‘an animated Pixar film, set in medieval Poland with its characters, stories and materials’, that are all embodied in the choppy beats of Felicita.

While the narrative Vilnius Energy is slightly ironic (they found a legal loop-hole to take over the name from the energetics corporation Vilnius Energy), Felicita is more sincere, yet similarly cryptic, creating abstracted ‘Slavic aesthetics’ by revisiting traditional Polish musical narratives and reviving them through his hyper cute hardcore beats.

Hìldå will open the evening with some mystical explorations through unfamiliar puzzles of nature.
