Dia De Los Muertos Celebrations

Theatre Deli and Mandinga Arts are proud to present the Dia de los Muertos Celebrations, featuring a community-led Carnival Parade through Burgess Park blending traditional Mexican folklore with contemporary elements for a bright and colourful celebration!

Dia de los Muertos is a traditional festival celebrating past and current family members and loved ones. Join us at the park and see all the vibrant outfits and process with skeletons, catrinas and puppets around the park.

The parade will be followed by a family friendly party in the Old Library featuring face painting, live Latin American music, and dance performances.


TIMINGS

4pm - 5pm - Carnival Procession in Burgess Park, featuring community participants and professional carnival artists with live music from the Samba Sisters Collective.

5pm - 8pm - A family-friendly party at the Old Library, featuring face painting, live Latin American music, and dance performances.

Advanced registration for the family party is highly recommended due to limited capacity.
