On Thursday 29th November, the Chiltern Street Christmas Shopping Evening returns to Marylebone with a spectrum of festive entertainment, craft workshops and exclusive promotions that champion a ‘conscious Christmas’. Free to attend, for the first time in the event’s history, the street will be pedestrianised to allow for even more food and drink and a wider programme of interactive activities and live performances, which turn a spotlight on environmental mindfulness this festive season.

• Complimentary fish chowder and cornbread by Chiltern Firehouse
• Complimentary drink of Bailey’s Hot Chocolate or mulled cider
• mulled wine served at Monocle Café
• Jikoni, Ravinder Bhogal’s restaurant on Blandford Street, and renowned eatery and creative hub, Carousel, will return for a second year, with a selection of delicious dishes
• Cadenhead’s, will be hosting complimentary walk-in whisky tasting sessions
• Cire Trudon will engrave its glass candle vessels in-store, providing customers with a personalised gift that can be reused long after the candle has burned. The world’s oldest candle-maker will also host a free workshop in partnership with local florist, Moyses Stevens, teaching guests how to create the perfect Christmas table centre-piece using its recycled glass candle vessels and fresh flowers
• Dashing Tweeds, will host live weave demonstrations using natural materials
• Cox and Power, will revive the Christmas Pudding sixpence, creating an exclusive necklace, that will only be available to buy on the evening of the event, made from responsibly-sourced silver
• Inspired by its ‘The Project’ initiative, which aims to reduce pre-consumer waste, handbag designer, Sophie Hulme, will unveil a spectacular window display using surplus leathers created by artist William Farr
• Sunspel, will host a workshop where guests can create their own accessories out of recycled fabrics
• Take advantage of special promotions on gifts that will last a life time at the likes of Trunk Clothiers, Long Tall Sally and Grey Flannel

An array of live music and performances by local talent will create a special ambience on the Christmas tree lined street; soul singers, Get Gospel, will perform uplifting soul and gospel classics, whilst The Sylvia Young Theatre School choir will sing a festive set. In partnership with JAS Musicals, Flute That Groove will perform contemporary Indian music, led by the Indian bamboo flute.
