Urban Makers Christmas Market

It’s that time of year again. Come and join Urban Makers for a weekend of festive frivolity and plenty of unique shopping opportunities, buying directly from carefully curated, handpicked local and independent makers.

There are over 100 different designer makers trading over the weekend - a different line-up each day. You can once again expect to find the high quality and exciting range of products that Urban Makers have become known for; from homewares, textiles, accessories, jewellery, ceramics, clothing for hip kids, original prints and art, festive decorations and a whole heap more. Wonderful pieces for you and your home and wonderful gift ideas for everyone.

There will be several workshops over the course of the weekend.
Origami 4 Fun will be hosting a fold your own origami Christmas ornaments for adults and children. Both Days. Free

Fizz Pop Science will be hosting a slime making workshop on both days for the kids. Drop into one of their sessions and make a pot to takeaway. Both days

After their successful workshop in Spring The DIY Tribe will return with a sewing workshop for ages 7+. Everyone will be provided with a reusable wooden embroidery hoop (which they can keep) along with fabric, thread, buttons & sequins to stitch their own modern day heirloom. Saturday

Join the Italian artist Naomi Vona for an unmissable Christmas workshop. She will be demonstrating how to decorate paper boxes, gift tags, Christmas decorations and Christmas cards with the colourful mt washi tape. All materials will be provided but please bring your own postcards or boxes to decorate if you wish as well. Sunday

Urban Makers Feast will be on hand to keep your energy levels up with gorgeous, warming dishes, artisan coffee and cakes and some winter cocktails and mulled wine. Join them for a weekend of Christmas merriment and cheer.
