The Black Smock Band and Owen Duff return to the Gallery Cafe for another evening of music in support of homeless LGBT youth charity the Albert Kennedy Trust. From the highly personal and delicately soulful songs of Owen Duff to the Black Smock Band's mix of the boisterous and the beautiful, this is an evening of mixed moments: moments of reflection, moments of reaction to the world around us, moments of joy and maybe even a moment or two to get up and dance! Expect an exploration of what it is to be alive in this moment and the music that weaves through the history that has brought us here, all in a laid-back and intimate cafe-style atmosphere in one of London's most interesting and exciting areas.

The Black Smock Band have played at venues from Brixton Jamm to Latitude Festival. A gay socialist folk band, they combine original material with reworkings of traditional music. Owen Duff’s songs have appeared in films and been played on BBC Radio 6 music and BBC Radio London. He has performed at venues around the UK, from festivals to the iconic Bush Hall.
