Plant-based popup sixty:2 returns to Shoreditch, bringing another of their signature immersive supper clubs. The sustainability-focused concept restaurant celebrates the holiday season with a daring menu putting an enchanting new twist on your favourite festive flavours.

This is the most extravagant showcase to date of founder and head chef Maudie Fraser’s love of playing with traditional flavour and form to create something modern and surprising. Featuring dishes such as ‘Smoked Brussels and hazelnut pâté, toasted panettone, Christmas Tree oil’, then ‘Brandy-steamed stuffing dumplings, cranberry sauce, drunk cavolo nero, spiced gravy’, and finally ‘Molten gingerbread with burnt orange crème’, this will be a cut above your office Christmas dinner (though you may not escape a cringeworthy joke or two and a recycled paper hat). Certainly no soggy sprouts to be found here!

Sixty:2 is a popup restaurant which combines plant-based fine dining with interactive education on issues of socio-environmental sustainability around food. Using the food itself as a teaching tool, the restaurant aims to feed diners’ brains as well as their bellies, and to open up constructive discussion on this subject.

Maudie says: “I’ve always loved cooking and hosting, and appreciated the power of food as a uniting force bringing people together and bringing people joy. So I thought: what better medium to explore the food we eat than food itself?”

Praise for sixty:2:
“Delicious, surprising, beautiful, brilliant”
“Amazing. Perfectly considered, all worked together!”
“Divine! So sumptuous
“Delicious and inspiring use of sustainable ingredients”
