Moon Festival

We are a 7-night celebration of ten moon marking the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. The Guardian called us one of ten European most iconic events of 2019. An all encompassing Lunar celebration incorporating art exhibitions, music performances, pop science lectures, moon gardens, moonlit film screenings, night night food markets, street parties and much more..

We’ve announced the first two of our events on Sunday 21st January. They are a half day programme of talks and performances on maverick women and the moon which include a keynote by Margaret Atwood and a panel discussion on whether humans have a right to the moon which will see young people in conversation with space lawyers, Senior members of the European Space Agency and beyond. We will continue to unveil a new Moon Festival event on each full Moon over the next six months.
