The West End’s newest chamber music series, Piccadilly Chamber Concerts returns in 2019, focusing on ‘The Great Romantics’. Each programme features a great 19th century Romantic masterpiece.
Now in its 2nd season, the 2019 series continues on June 14rd with a performance of Beethoven’s mighty Archduke piano Trio and complimented by Clara Schumann’s ravishingly beautiful Piano Trio in G minor. The programme also includes Philip Glass’s rarely performed ‘Head On’.
International violinist-extraordinaire, Zoë Beyers, is in demand as soloist and chamber musician for her breathtaking technique and has been co-leader of the CBSO for many years.
The spell-binding virtuoso cellist and winner of many prizes, Victoria Simonsen is one of the leading cellists of her generation.
Concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith became the first british pianist to perform Chopin’s complete works from memory in 2016 and enjoys a wide following in London and across the UK.
Audiences will be treated to an uplifting, entertaining and informative musical evening!
