When an inflatable doll comes to life, could it be just the man Kate needs?

One night workaholic Kate is “gifted” a blow-up-boyfriend by her colleagues and decides to keep it in an act of defiance. Soon the doll becomes the only person Kate dares to be herself around… but as it begins to take on a mind of its own, Kate comes face to face with the dangers of letting someone in.

A surreal comedy, this is a rom-com with rom-coms in its crosshairs. Me and My Doll is a show for twenty-first century feminists from the creators of We Need to Talk About Bobby (off EastEnders). For women who are told to ‘want it all’, then criticised for being too work-obsessed or too dependent on men. In a light-hearted tongue-in-cheek way, it dives right to the heart of one of the thorniest issues of modern feminism.
