Brigadiers has teamed up with Guinness this Six Nations season to offer rugby fans the ultimate match day experience and unique opportunity to meet some of rugby’s biggest names at its Legend Lunches. Both Legend Lunches will be hosted by former English rugby player Ed Jackson alongside famous Welsh Fullback Gareth Thomas on Friday 1st March. Guests will also be in with a chance to sit alongside Ed Jackson and former Saracens player and co-host of The Rugby Pod, Jim Hamilton on Friday 15th March from 12pm-4pm.
Rugby fans will hear the inspirational memoirs from each player, including Ed Jackson’s road to recovery following his accident in 2017 that left the former number eight paralysed from the neck down. Guests will also listen in on each rugby players insider stories from their careers and partake in an open discussion on predictions for the Six Nations championships.
Following the talks guests will indulge in Brigadiers renowned Feast menu including three mouth-watering courses and beer pairings. Guests will start with a sharing selection of Poppadum’s & Chutneys, Lotus Root & Puff Chaat and Masala Chicken Skinsfollowed by an array of specials including; Amritsari Fried Fish Pao, Original BBQ Butter Chicken Wings and Afghani Lamb Cannon Kabab Skewers both served with Open Gate Pilsner beer paring. To finish diners will choose between Brigadiers famousTandoori Lamb Chops or Tawa Prawn Biryani served with House Dal, Pinenut & Onion Pilau and Tadka Greens. Alternatively, guests can opt for a delicious vegetarian 3-course Feast menu including the likes of Tandoori Aloo Gobhi Vada Pao, Channah Masala and Tawa Wild Mushroom Biryani served with Open Gate Citra IPA with bitter citrus notes to compliment the dishes aromatic spices.
