IKEA Greenwich makes sustainability fun for families with half-term events

The recently opened IKEA Greenwich, a leading sustainable store, will continue to celebrate its launch with the Good Ship IKEA, leading the way for residents and visitors of the local boroughs to give back to the community.

Along the Deptford Creek, you’ll find the ‘Good Ship IKEA’, smooth sailing its way to clear 20kg of rubbish at a time. Families are invited to come down and have a go at steering the remote-controlled boat and will then be able to view their accomplishments in the form of a sculpture at IKEA Greenwich on a later date!
