Cuervo Tradicional x Cafe Pacifico create a bold new Margarita for National Margarita Day

In honour of National Margarita Day on Friday 22nd February, leading tequila brand, Jose Cuervo has teamed up with London’s original Mexican restaurant, Cafe Pacifico, to offer you a bold menu of Margarita creations, including the Cuervo Tradicional, Kombucha Margarita and the Cuervo Tradicional Watermelon Margarita. These limited-edition Margaritas will be on the menu at Cafe? Pacifico for one week only, starting from the 18th February.

Even better, if you’re one of the first 30 people to walk through the doors of Covent Garden’s Cafe Pacifico on Margarita Day itself (Friday 22nd February) from 4pm you’ll be offered a Cuervo Tradicional Kombucha Margarita on the house. Just remember to relay the following sentence to the bartender: “Make mine a Cuervo Tradicional Margarita, please!”.

Kombucha, a fizzy probiotic fermented drink made from sweetened black or green tea, is fast getting a reputation as the drink of the decade. It’s fizzy and tangy characteristics make it the ideal mixer for unique cocktail concoctions. Added to the already incredible combination of tequila, lime and Triple Sec, it adds a bold and creative twist to the classic margarita.

In addition to these limited edition Margaritas, Jose Cuervo will also be celebrating Margarita Day with their ‘Cuervo Tradicional Margarita Masterpiece’ campaign – a collaborative online art project led by award-winning artist Helen Marshall, where tequila fans can send in pictures of themselves drinking margarita, via the hashtag #LiveTradicional to become part of a contemporary twist on a vintage Cuervo Margarita poster and be in with the chance of winning a host of tequila prizes.
