Join record-breaking polar explorer, author and former Antarctic scientist, Felicity Aston MBE, as she tells the story of how she became the first woman to ski solo across the Great White Continent. Her epic journey covered an enormous 1,744km, took her 59 days to complete and earned her a place in the book of Guinness World Records – and rightly so!

After her talk, Felicity will host a Q&A session to allow you to pose any burning questions you might have about her expedition or her time in Antarctica. The evening will also feature a showcase of awe-inspiring polar photography captured by our talented Polar Team.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided on the night and the proceeds of all tickets sold will be donated to our non-profit arm, The Intrepid Foundation.

What is The Intrepid Foundation?

Founded in 2002, The Intrepid Foundation was created to help travellers give back to the communities they visit. Every donation made is matched by us and so far, we have invested over AU $6 million into grassroots projects around the world tackling issues like environmental conservation and animal welfare.
