It's Clazzical (Album Launch)

The charismatic virtuoso clarinettist Julian Marc Stringle plays ‘It’s Clazzical’ in concert with his all-star ‘Dream Band’ and violinist Sonia Slany’s ‘Solid Strings’.

‘It’s Clazzical’ is an effervescent fusion of popular classic melodies and pulsating Latin Jazz rhythms. This dynamic show features stunning arrangements of masterworks by: Gershwin, Bernstein, Piazzolla, Mangione, Bechet, Jobim, Aznavour, Rimsky Korsakov, Dankworth, Stratta and Stringle.

Performing ‘It’s Clazzical’ with Julian at this gala concert in Chickenshed’s Rayne Theatre is a remarkable ensemble of renowned jazz players and distinguished classical instrumentalists: Neil Angilley - Piano, Dominic Ashworth - Guitars, Chris Dodd – Bass, Mike Bradley - Drums, Marc Cecil - Percussion, Sonia Slany - Violin, Jonathan Truscott - Violin, Steve Tees - Viola and Nick Cooper – Cello.

The show is aimed at classical music lovers, devotees of musical theatre and fans of accessible Latin jazz.
