After a successful sold out run at Edinburgh Festival in 2017 receiving 4 and 5 star reviews, Dark Matter returns to London for a weekly run before we embark on our European touring.

Vertebra Theatre presents 'Dark Matter,' a puppetry performance to raise awareness of dementia and end of life that will be showcased at Tristan Bates Theatre as part of the European Theatre Festival 'A piece of the continent' from 9 - 13 of April at 7.45pm with a matinee/relaxed performance and a Q & A session on Saturday the 13th of April at 4pm.

Exploring the final moments of the life of someone who lives with dementia, Dark Matter dives into the world of Alfie, an elderly astrophysicist nearing the end of his life. Using Bunraku Puppetry, a form of traditional Japanese puppet theatre, live microcinema and physical storytelling, Dark Matter from London-based pan-European company Vertebra Theatre is a devised puppetry performance about star constellations, black holes and a race against the clock to discover meaning.
