Stargazers are excited as China makes the first landing on the far side of the moon, an area seldom seen from the Earth, perhaps containing secrets about our solar system’s early days?
Hong Kong artist Victor Wong, the inventor of A.I. Gemini, the world’s first artificial intelligence ink painter will make his first landing in London to present an extraordinary Tech Ink exhibition Far Side of the Moon in 3812 London Gallery opening on 16th April, 2019.
How much do we know about the far side? Can intervention of artificial intelligence in art pioneer a new art movement?
Please join us for a fascinating insight and introduction to Victor Wong’s artificial intelligence creation A.I. Gemini, which uses the ancient medium of Shui Mo (water and ink) to paint the unique landscapes of the unexplored dark side of the Moon.
Beginning of the Tech Ink era
The first series of Tech Ink paintings Escapism debuted the collaboration between human (Victor Wong, the artist and inventor) and machine (A.I. Gemini) which was announced in INK NOW Art Expo in Taipei in January 2019. Cathay Pacific Discovery Magazine commissioned Victor Wong and A.I. Gemini to draw a piece for the magazine’s January 2019 front cover.
