Fast fashion haul videos are a worrying sign of how our clothes buying habits are a problem for the planet. This month fashion influencers Adeola Patronne and Venetia Falconer are supporting eco fashion campaign #LoveNotLandfill by encouraging fashion fans to join them in doing #dehauls; going through their wardrobes and clearing out unwanted items for recycling.
As part of Fashion Revolution Week this April, fans can meet Adeola and Venetia at #LoveNotLandfill’s limited edition clothes bank designed by street artist Bambi, in Spitalfields Market on Friday 26 April between 11.30am and 1.30pm. The clothes bank will be at Spitalfields Market from 18th - 29th April for anyone to deposit old and unwanted clothes for recycling.
Adeola and Venetia will be bringing down their unwanted pieces and are inviting fashionistas to join them in doing the same. There will be a chance to check out each other’s #dehauls and swap unwanted clothes before they go into the bank for recycling.
Tip: If you want to see what Adeola and Venetia will be bringing to swap/recycle check out their #LoveNotLandfill #dehaul videos on YouTube – and get tips on how to do your own #dehaul.
