Merrie May Day Celebration

Celebrate the arrival of spring in traditional style, with maypole dancing in the Geffrye’s beautiful gardens.

There will be stalls and activities for all ages, including the Geffrye Explorers' Garden Cart, upcycled eco inset hotels from Alan Briggs Bughouses, spring plants and herbs from Rootcraft, vintage fabric furnishings from Leah Rose Deisgns, and beautiful blooms from Gray & Greenery to name a few.

Also on offer will be delicious BBQ-style food from the Sunrise Curry Club, homemade cakes from Feast London and locally brewed craft beers courtesy of the Hackney Brewery.

The main museum is currently closed for a transformational £18m redevelopment and is scheduled to reopen in spring 2020.
