Where There is Light: A Duet of Light and Sound

Where There is Light is a duet of light and sound, with Kamilla Arku performing on piano, and Jordan Söderberg Mills generating sound-sensitive projections.

The performance plays with the notion of synaesthesia, a perceptual phenomenon that intertwines the senses by visualizing music with colour and pattern.

Arku and Söderberg Mills use this vocabulary of art and music to create a dialogue - between light and sound, the visual and the auditory, culture and symbolism, exploring notions of European and African diaspora. Where There is Light is a dialogue between the artist and the musician.

All proceeds will go to benefit Music for Liberia.
