Autism Hero Awards

The Autism Hero Awards has been created by the Anna Kennedy Online Charity as an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the excellence taking place in the world of Autism. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate and showcase accomplishments as well as enhancing Autism awareness and acceptance.

The Autism Hero Awards was handed over to Anna Kennedy OBE by its founder Jo Kirton Salmon in 2016 where Anna presented the awards for Wales. Jo wanted to hand over the awards to Anna, so she could expand the event and share the event further.

Every year, we seek to acknowledge the outstanding contributions and achievements of individuals, teams and organisations who have proved excellence, dedication and commitments to impacting lives that have been making a real difference in the world of autism. This honourable occasion was a unique opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding contributions and achievements of individuals, teams and organisations who have proved excellence, dedication and commitments to impacting lives that have been making a real difference.

The Autism Hero Awards 2019 will be taking place on Saturday 9th November 2019 at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel, Chelsea Harbour, SW10 0XG

Anna Kennedy Online is dedicated to promoting the inclusion and equality of children and adults with an autism spectrum condition throughout society. The charity promotes its mission of disability equality by developing and sponsoring training, by raising awareness of the challenges faced by people with disabilities and also by its advocacy efforts with and on behalf of people with an autism spectrum condition.

All proceeds for the evening will be donated to the Anna Kennedy Online Charity to continue its dynamic work in raising Autism awareness within society
