WickED Walls

In WickED Walls, the gallery presents a selection of pieces by some of our finest fine artists, curating a group exhibition of work by four locally-based painters, sculptors, photographers and mixed media practitioners, in a large canal-side space that is usually empty during the week. The show opens on July’s Wick Wednesday and closes on the WickED Weekend, to mark and help celebrate the return of the Hackney WickED Open Studios in 2019 (26-28 July). Through holding our exhibition in this space, and by encouraging as many new local artists as possible to open their studios, we are resurrecting, and looking to further develop, the Hackney WickED Art Prize from 2019.
