Chaos Theory presents a playful stew of indefinable genius. Join these stunning musical pioneers in the heart of Camden, as they take us on a wayward journey that pierces through prog, jazz, classical, rock and experimental sounds.

--------------------------
Lost Crowns

A magnificent collective, formed with the intention of redefining the over-stretched term "psychedelic" with joyous, fluttery music, rife with relentless complexity suggesting the full intensity of visionary experience.

Unsatisfied with the "disappointingly conventional" majority of psych sounds from the 60s, band leader Richard Larcombe formed Lost Crowns from various characters who have played with Cardiacs, Knifeworld, Prescott, William D Drake and the North Sea Radio Orchestra. The songs are unpredictable mini-symphonies, with clarinet, harmonium and Mellotron careering wildly around the guitars and double-kick drums.

Exceptionally elaborate, including ALL the notes and bar lengths. A bizarre and joyous experience.

--------------------------
Bitch 'n' Monk

A wayward soprano and screaming flute duo from London and Colombia, now based in Berlin. Bitch ‘n’ Monk invite you to come to the edge of the music that you know, and peer over into something unpredictable, wild, and new to your ears.

We considered them a defiant fusion of arts and culture back in 2016 when we worked on their album launch at Rich Mix, but their latest developments of their indefinable "fluid form" test the true elasticity of the mind.

--------------------------
Colin Webster/Andrew Lisle

Improvisational collaboration between two members of Kodian Trio.

London based saxophonist Colin Webster is quickly establishing himself on the European avant-garde scene. Collaborating with some of the key figures in improvised and experimental music, Webster is known for working from extreme sonic palettes – from minimal to maximal, constantly pushing boundaries.

Andrew Lisle is a drummer working in the field of jazz and improvised music. He strives to create music within the avant-garde, pushing the limits of what is possible on the drums (technically and musically) while drawing influence from the jazz tradition.
